Dietary management of patients w/ or at risk of malnutrition in particular w/ cancer, chronic catabolic disease &/or cachexia.

Supplementary nutrition 2 bottles/day. Complete nutrition ≤5 bottles/day.

Not suitable whenever enteral nutrition is not permitted eg, acute GI bleeding, gut atonia, ileus; severe forms of malassimilation & patients w/ congenital inability to metabolise nutrients contained in Supportan Drink. Severe liver or kidney insufficiency.

If used for complete nutrition, consider high fish oil & protein levels. Not suitable for childn <3 yr. Caution in childn <6 yr. Not suitable for patients w/ galactosaemia. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
